Pakistani consulates in the United States

Pakistan keeps five consular offices in the United States: an embassy in Washington and consulates general in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Houston. Between them they divide the fifty states and the District of Columbia, and the division is not the one geography would suggest.

Wyoming is served from New York, roughly 1,800 miles away. So is Kentucky. Florida and Georgia belong to Houston rather than to Washington. This site sets out which office covers you, what it can do, and which four procedures no longer need any office at all.
