Chicago holds the largest jurisdiction of the five, twelve states across the Midwest and the northern Plains. Michigan and Ohio belong here rather than to an eastern office, which matters because the Detroit area has one of the older Pakistani communities in the country.

Be careful which website you trust. A domain that reads like the obvious one, pakistanconsulatechicago.org, is a parked page carrying advertising links, and it has nothing to do with the consulate. The real site is cgpkchicago.org.
